From start to finish, we must live our lives in God’s grace. Sometimes people say of someone who hurt them, “He really hurt my feelings.” If we allow our hurt feelings to control our lives, we are not living in the realm of God’s grace. Who says everyone should be nice to us? If we are misunderstood, the only reason it is not much worse is because of the grace of God.

The writer of Hebrews 12:15 warns believers that they should not miss God’s grace. “See to it that no one misses the grace of God….” We can miss God’s grace when we try to live the Christian life by our own efforts. God’s grace through faith brings salvation to us at the start of our Christian lives and continues giving us the power and ability to respond to God and resist sin. Grace is a wonderful gift that God gives to us because He loves us! Let’s live moment by moment in the grace of God.
